You can connect more than one Fin workspace to the same Salesforce org. This is useful when you want separate Fin setups for different product lines, brands or regions, each with its own content, guidance and workflows, while your team works from one Salesforce org.
Before you start
Install the Fin for Salesforce package in the Salesforce org you're connecting. You only need to install it once for the org, and every workspace connects to that same package.
Keep the package on the latest version. Reinstalling or upgrading the package doesn't affect the other Fin workspaces connected to the org.
Use a separate Salesforce user as the Fin user for each workspace. This keeps each workspace's replies, Case ownership and activity separate in Salesforce.
Fin Messenger
Create a separate Embedded Service Deployment in Salesforce for each Fin workspace, and connect each workspace to its own deployment. This keeps each workspace's conversations and handoffs separate.
Salesforce Cases
Each workspace checks Salesforce for Cases on its own. If two workspaces can pick up the same Cases, both may try to respond. To avoid this, set up each workspace so it only works on its own Cases, for example by queue or by a Case field such as product, brand or region.
When Fin hands off to your team, values you save with a Set data step in a Fin workflow are carried onto the Salesforce Case. You can use this to show which workspace or product line a Case came from, and to route it to the right team in Salesforce.
