You can sync your documents from Document360 as external content in Fin and make it available for Fin and Copilot.
Sync content from Document360
To set up your Box content sync, go to Train > Content and click See all then choose Document360.
Next, you'll need to input your API token and select your hosting region.
Note: Document360 does not explicitly expose what hosting region your workspace is in the UI. If you receive an error, try with different region. We currently don't support privately hosted knowledge bases.
Next, choose your Document360 project/workspace and the language(s) you'd like to sync. Then click Start sync.
Note: If you select to sync multiple languages, you can't choose categories to sync as not all categories exist in all languages.
Manage synced Document360 content
Once the sync is complete, you’ll receive an email notification. Your Document360 content will appear in Train > Content below the "Content sources" section.
Configure the settings
To manage Document360 content, go to Train > Content and click on your Document360 source under the "Content sources" section, then open the document you want to manage.
There's a "Details" panel on the right which contains:
Data: View the content type, language, creation date, last updated (date it was last synced with Document360).
Fin: Enable/disable for Fin Agent and Fin Copilot. When enabled, the content becomes available to customers and teammates, respectively.
Audience: Target your content at a specific audience, so Fin Agent only shares content that is relevant for them.
Reports: Tracks how often this content is involved and used to resolve conversations by Fin Agent .
Tag: Add a tag to group documents together and keep content organized.
Note: Imported content from Document360 appears as external content in Fin which can't be edited, you'll need to edit it from Document360 and then re-sync with Fin.
Re-sync or remove Document360 content
Content is automatically re-synced with Document360 every 7 days.
You can manually trigger a re-sync or remove Document360 content from Train > Content by clicking the 3 dot menu next to this source and selecting Re-sync or Remove this source.
Note:
A Professional or Business Document360 subscription is required to access their REST APIs, which are necessary for syncing with Fin.
Document360 has relatively low API rate limits (60 or 100 requests per minute, depending on your plan), which may slow down large syncs.
Only published articles are synced; drafts are not included.
All selected language versions of articles will be synced. To make content in those languages available to Fin, ensure you've added them as supported languages in your Fin workspace.
