Instead of adding each list attribute option manually, you can import up to 1000 options at once using a CSV file.
Navigate to Settings > Data > Conversation data and select the list attribute you are keen to edit or select "+ Create attribute" in the top right corner.
Prepare a CSV file containing your list options in the appropriate format:
At least one column for the "Name" of the option.
And an optional second column for the "Description", which can be used for AI category detection.
The first row will be treated as a header column and won't be imported.
Any blank rows will be ignored and not imported.
Import your options from your CSV file:
Click Upload at the bottom of the screen
Choose your file by searching your devices folders or dragging the file into the upload box.
Click Add options to import your List options.
Save your attribute.
Note:
Your CSV can't contain duplicate attribute option names. Duplicates are case sensitive e.g. "Option 1" and "option 1" will be treated as two distinct options.
If you import a CSV after options are already available, this will add additional options, and won't update, archive, or replace existing options.
Conversation data attribute limits
The total number of CvDAs per workspace is limited to 5000. This is the combination of attributes created for conversations and all ticket types.
The exception is when creating text attributes. There’s a limit of 250 text attributes for conversations and 250 text attributes for each ticket type.
For example, if a Customer ticket is created and there’s 250 text attributes for conversations, and 250 text attributes for the customer ticket type, the ticket can have 500 text attributes. This is the maximum number of text attributes a conversation/ticket can have. However, you'll still be able to create attributes of different types (up to 5000).
