After you've trained Fin with some content, it's time to give it a personality that aligns with your brand.
Step 1: Navigate to the basics section of Fin Guidance to see a list of key default behaviors. You'll have the opportunity to fine-tune these later with specific guidance.
Step 2: Set the tone of voice for Fin. This is how Fin will communicate with your customers in most situations. Hover over each one to see adjectives and descriptions that will help you understand them better.
Step 3: Test the different tones to see them in action. Select one and ask Fin a question using the preview messenger on the right. This will allow you to see how Fin responds and adjust the settings to your preference.
Tip: Compare the different tone options with a preview to find the one that best suits your business. Consider your brand, your industry, and how you want to communicate with your customers.
Note: Your tone of voice settings will affect everything Fin says, from answers to greetings to clarifying questions.
Step 4: Experiment with Fin's answer length. This setting only affects Fin's AI-generated answers. The concise option provides shorter, faster answers, while the thorough option offers more comprehensive information. The standard setting is a balance between the two.
